Frequently Asked Questions
Jethro Ministries guides your journey with care, offering a home for structure, support, and spiritual growth for every leader.
Who is Jethro Ministries for?
Jethro Ministries is designed for anyone in spiritual leadership. Eg. senior pastors, associate and executive pastors, church planters, board members, ministry and/or departmental heads, etc.
What makes Jethro Ministries different from business consultants or coaches?
Business consultants often bring valuable organizational expertise, but they may not understand the unique pressures, spiritual dynamics, and sacred nature of ministry work. Jethro Ministries operates from a distinctly biblical framework while offering practical organizational wisdom.
Is this only for churches that are in crisis?
Not at all. While we certainly come alongside leaders navigating difficult seasons, many of the ministries we serve are healthy, growing organizations that simply want to become healthier and more effective.
Will you try to change our church's doctrine or style?
Absolutely not. Our role is not to reshape your theology, doctrine, or ministry philosophy. We serve leaders across a broad spectrum of denominational and theological traditions.
What we offer is structural and advisory support that honors your unique identity. We don't come with a one-size-fits-all model. Instead, we listen carefully to who you are as a ministry and then help you build structures, systems, and practices that align with your calling and context.
How confidential is the work you do?
Confidentiality is foundational to everything we do. We understand that the matters we discuss—whether they involve pastoral struggles, board dynamics, staff tensions, or personal challenges—require the utmost discretion.
